Make Your Own Crafter's Toolbox

Thursday February 8, 2007
Whether you are an avid crafter or just want to be a crafter, a well stocked craft toolbox is a must, but where do you begin? I have created these lists of supplies, complete with colored photos, to help you plan and stock your toolbox:

  • Basic Craft Supplies - Start with the basics you think you will use the most and add more items as you can.

  • Beyond the Basics - Once you have a nice assortment of basic supplies in your crafter’s toolbox, why not enhance your collection by adding a few more things…

  • Specialty Tools and Fun Gadgets - Use your creativity and experiment with a variety of specialty tools and gadgets to figure out what you like best.

While I have tried to make these lists of supplies comprehensive, if you walk through the aisles of your local craft store, you will always be able to find something different you would like to add to your crafter's toolbox. Also, don't forget to explore different options for storing your supplies.
