Empty Film Containers

Sunday January 13, 2008
Do you have ideas for crafts made from empty film containers... How readily available or empty film containers these days? Do you have something special you use them for? How about making a bubble necklace or a first aid kit necklace. They also make pretty good finger puppets! Check out all the ideas I have collected, and then please share your own ideas! Don't worry, if you don't have any empty film containers, you can always use empty prescription bottles!

Here is a really good craft:

Fruity Lip Gloss:

Ingredients:

• 2 tablespoons solid shortening
• 1 package Kool – Aid fruit mix
• 35 mm plastic film container or small air tight container

Directions:

1. Mix shortening and Kool – Aid together in a small microwave safe container until smooth.

2. Place container in the microwave for 30 seconds until mixture becomes a liquid.

3. Pour the mixture into a film container or any small air tight container.

4. Place the Fruity Lip Gloss in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

***** You can also decorate your Fruity Lip Gloss container. *****
