Picnic Placemat

This is a craft shared in what I like to call the book version of this Web site, titled appropriately The About.com Guide to Family Crafts. For complete step-by-step directions you have to get the book, but basically you weave together white and red paper and then make ants using fingerprints. You can protect your placemat by covering both the front and back with clear Con-Tact paper.
