This Week's Spotlight Crafts (September 6-12)
Saturday September 13, 2008
I hope you all noticed, but just in case you didn't, this past week I started 'spotlighting' a new craft project every day on the Family Crafts front page. I thought Saturday would be a good day to review the projects I featured this week, for anyone who missed one.
- Invent a Book - Follow these directions and discover creative ways to write and illustrate your own books.
- Printable Coupons - Check out all of these fun coupons that you can print out. Use them to create a coupon booklet to give to someone special.
- Scarecrow Candy Jar Craft - Follow these step-by-step directions and you can easily create this adorable candy jar that looks like a scarecrow. This would be perfect to hold Autumn treats of all sorts, and it would also make a great gift.
- Beaded Safety Pin Bear - Follow this pattern and the basic directions on the safety pin jewelry page to complete this project.
- Pine Cone Squirrel Craft - Follow these step-by-step directions and create an adorable squirrel using a pine cone and a few other supplies.
- Make Your Own Clay - Mix up a batch of this home-made clay and then create this stunning star necklace you can wear.
- Pumpkin Magnet Craft - You can make this adorable, little refrigerator magnet using a chenille stem, seed beads, and a bottle cap!

I am new to your site and I am loving it! I enjoyed being able to recap the week since I didn’t get the chance to sign on during the past week. I work with 4 and 5 year olds and your ideas are great!
Thanks for the feedback Rose Marie. Glad you have found my site useful!
