This Week's Spotlight Crafts (December 27 - January 2)

Saturday January 3, 2009
I hope everyone's new year is starting out on a positive note. Here are some fun crqafts that will start your creative juices flowing:
  • Soda Pop Can Pig - Make several little piggies using soda pop cans. I promise these pigs will not eat you out of house and home.

  • How To Make a Fabric Covered Notebook - Discover how easy it is to personalize a notebook or journal by covering it with fabric.

  • New Year Blessing Snack Mix - A visitor named Vicki came up with this creative New Year's treat and then I created a printable tag you can use!

  • Time Capsule Craft - Check out these instructions to make a special time capsule to help celebrate New Year's or any time.

  • Party Popper Craft - Follow these directions and you can create party supplies using a toilet paper roll. Not only do these make colorful party decorations but they also double as party favors when you fill them with small treats.

  • CD Cardinal - Make this lovely cardinal and then expand on this idea to create a variety of different birds.

  • Recycled Snowman Craft - Michelle Honeycutt explains how she transformed empty baby Puff containers into snowmen.

Enjoy, and remember, if you complete any of these crafts, take a few moments to send me a picture and it can be featured here too!
