I chose this project this because of a couple of young artists who submitted picture of the dish soap paintings they made. The masterpiece here was painted by 2-year-old Logan (you can see a larger photo here). Mia, age 5, submitted this house painting she made using dish soap paint. If you want to make your own dish soap paint, all you need is some liquid dish soap and some powdered tempera paint or food coloring. Mix them together using these instructions and you can paint your own masterpieces. This paint is great on any paper or even on the window because it can be transparent! One quick note, this paint sometimes takes longer to dry than others.
I hope you enjoy this fast craft. If you have a fun, fast craft to share, please take a moment to submit it using this simple form.
