This is a fun craft for the middle of summer vacation! Making personalized bookmarks might help kids be a little more receptive to taking some time out this summer to read.

To make a photo bookmark, all you need is some small photos, clear Con-Tact paper, a piece of yarn, a pair of scissors. You can also grab some glitter or stickers to decorate it and a hole punch for the yarn. Cut two piece of clear Con-Tact paper the same size. Peel off the paper backing on one and stick the photos on it and anything else you want to use to embellish. Cover it with the other piece of Con-Tact paper and trim the edges. Punch a hole in the top and tie the yarn in the hole. For ever more detailed directions, read through this tutorial.

I hope you enjoy this fast craft. If you have a fun, fast craft to share, please take a moment to submit it using this simple form.
