Advent Handprint Wreath

By Sherri Osborn, About.com

A fun way to count down the days until Christmas. Make this advent wreath using handprints.

Materials:

  • Paper Plate
  • Construction Paper
  • Markers or Crayons
  • Glue

Instructions:
Cut the center out of the paper plate to form a wreath shape. Trace 24 handprints onto green construction paper. Write a good deed on each hand.

Starting on December 1st, pick one cut-out hand. Do the good deed listed on the hand, and then glue the hand onto the wreath. Do this every day to help you count down the days until Christmas. On Christmas day, add a big ribbon to your completed handprint wreath if you like!
