Good Deed Advent Jar Craft

A fun way to count down the days until Christmas. Make this advent jar full of good deeds.

  • Age Guideline: 6 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

You can use a plain jar or decorate one using craft supplies. If you like, you can use some of these jar craft ideas.

Cut 24 small pieces of paper, approximately 2 inches by 3 inches. On each piece of paper, write down a good deed. Fold up these pieces of paper and place them in the jar.

Starting on December 1st, pick one good deed paper out of the jar. Do the good deed listed on the paper. Do this every day to help you count down the days until Christmas. On Christmas eve, after you do your last good deed, your jar will be empty; why not fill it with treats for Santa and then maybe he will fill it with small trinkets for you!
