A fun way to count down the days until Christmas. Make this advent Christmas tree using toilet tissue or paper towel rolls.

  • Age Guideline: 3 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials:

Instructions:
Cut each toilet paper roll in half or in thirds so you have 24 circles that are about 2-inches tall. Paint both the inside and outside of each circle green.

Once the paint is dry, glue them onto the poster board into the shape of a Christmas tree. Let the glue dry.

Trim the poster board around the toilet tissue rolls, into the shape of a Christmas tree. Place a small candy or other treat into each circle. Starting on December 1st, take out one piece of candy or treat per day to help you count down every day until Christmas!
