Queen Quacky Craft
Make This Cute Duck Craft

By , About.com Guide

A fun art project to help little ones learn more about the letter Q, submitted by H. Marie.

"For our alphabet 'Q' page last week, we did a coloring picture of a duck which I had cut out and instead of the sailor hat it had on it's head, I cut it zig-zag like a crown. Then I put gold glitter on it for a tiara. I cut a paper rectangle, and a lot of little squares of paper & coordinating wallpaper little squares. The children cut out the sentence strip that said "Queen Quacky lies quietly under her quilt." They glued it to the bottom of the page. Colored Queen Quacky and glued that to the 1st third of the page, and lastly, glued their little squares to the bigger rectangle to make her quilt. They then glued her quilt on up to her 'chin'. :) Turned out really cute."
