Instructions: Wipe down your terra cotta pot with a damp cloth and let dry completely. Paint the clay pot and the wooden ball head the desired colors (I made a baby girl, so I used pink for the pot). Put them aside to dry. Once the paint is dry, glue the wooden ball onto the bottom of the clay pot (figure 1). Paint a nose, eyes, and mouth on the wooden ball (figure 2). For the face of my baby in the photos, I used simple rub-on decals! Once all your paint is dry, spray it with the clear acrylic sealer.
![]() Glue a few buttons on the front of the pot. Glue on yarn for hair, if desired. Cut out hands and arms, and glue them in place. I made a baby bottle by painting a small, wooden coat rack peg! Use your imagination here! This part is optional! Cut two half circles out of fun foam, and glue them onto the bottom edge of the clay pot for feet. You can also cut ears out of fun foam and glue them onto the head. Your baby is now complete. - See a larger photo of this craft completed by Your Family Crafts Guide.
