Instructions:
"To make a jewelry-type box, sand the cigar box if it's one of the varnished kind, paint whatever color you like. Glue felt in the bottom of the inside and decorate the outside if you like.
These also make great potpourri boxes, just paint and decorate, fill with wonderful potpourri, they are great to give friends for their bathrooms, etc. I also painted some red, cut out cute Christmas pictures from wrapping paper, decoupaged those onto the box and filled with Christmas candies and chocolate. I made recipe boxes from the longer deep ones, did not paint those, just decoupaged words from a cracker barrel menu all over it, copied recipes and glued to index cards and filled the boxes with recipes.
Everyone loved them. My husband works at a cigar shop so I have more boxes than I know what to do with."
