Instructions:
Find an online coloring book page that you like. Print it out on cardstock. Have your child color it if desired and then cut it out.
Start punching holes around the outside edge of your colored picture. You will want to make sure the holes are at least a half an inch from the edge. The holes should also be about an inch away from each other.
Cut a piece of yarn about 2 to 3 feet long, depending on the size of your picture. Tape one end of the yarn to the back of the picture. Wrap the other end of the tape with tape. This will make it easier to thread the yarn through the holes.
Your child can now practice sewing by weaving the yarn in and out of the holes!
