Recycled Greeting Cards

Turn old Cards into New Cards

By Sherri Osborn, About.com

Recycle the greeting cards you have received! Make new greeting cards out of the old ones.

Materials:

  • Used Greeting Cards
  • Construction Paper
  • Glue

Instructions:
Fold a piece of construction paper in half to form your card. Cut the picture or scene from a used greeting card. Glue the picture onto the front of the folded piece of construction paper and write a verse inside.

Here is an idea shared by Joanne:
You can fold a piece of paper into forths and cut a window into the front. Find a designs from a used greeting card you want to use and trim it to fit in the window you cut in the card. Use a satin stitch to hold the picture in place. You can also add fabric trim.
