Instructions:
Use a hole puncher to punch holes along the bottom edge about one inch
apart along the bottom edge of the cardboard. Punch one hole in each
top corner also. (See picture below)>
Cut the cardboard into a 4-inch wide strip that is long enough to fit around the ankle fairly snug so it does not slip down. Decorate the plain side of the the cardboard with Chrisrmas designs (or whatever you prefer) using the paint, markers, or crayons.

Now, you want to cut pieces of ribbon about 6 inches long. The number of pieces of ribbon you cut depends on the number of holes you punched along the bottom edge of the cardboard. For example, with the picture above, you would want 11 pieces of ribbon.
Leave both end holes on the bottom empty, and also both holes along the top edge. Starting with the second hole in from the edge, string a piece of ribbon through the hole so you have the same amount hanging over on each side.
Now, you need to string 1 or 2 pony beads on the ribbon, making sure you string them on both strands. Temporarily push the bead(s) up as close to the cardboard as you can. Push one ribbon end into the hole on a jingle bell. Tie the two ends of the ribbon together. Gently pull the bead(s) down to the end of the ribbon. Try to push the part with the knot into the hole of the bead(s).
Repeat this until all the holes along the bottom edge, except the 2 end holes, have bells.
Your Jing-Tingler is now done, and you can tie it to your ankle. Take your two extra ribbon pieces, string them through the empty top and bottom holes, and then tie it to your leg!
