Hand Print Ghost Trick or Treat Bag Craft
How to Make a Treat Bag with a Ghost Design

By Sherri Osborn, About.com Guide

Tracy Bobbitt gives suggestions for decorating a trick or treat bag for the little ones to carry!

  • Age Guideline: 3 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

Instructions:
Place paint on the paper plate and spread it out. Have the child press their hand onto the glue on the plate so their fingers and palms are covered.

Place the child's hand upside-down on the black bag making a hand print, making sure their fingers are being held together. The fingers of the hand print should be pointing towards the bottom of the bag. This will leave a nice hand print which will be the body of the ghost. Let the glue dry.

Glue wiggle eyes onto the palm area of the hand print with craft glue. Let the glue dry.

When dry, you've got a personalized 'ghostly' treat bag for a child and a great keepsake for Mom.
