Glitter Leaf Decorations

By Sherri Osborn, About.com

Instructions for making a fun Autumn leafs to hang around your room, shared by H. Marie.

Materials Needed:

  • Construction Paper
  • Paint
  • marbles
  • Glitter

Instructions:
How about adding some class-made autumn leaves to your preschool room?

Cut many construction paper leaves (big as 9x12 and smaller) out of red, yellow, green, and brown paper. Put leaves in a single layer in a shallow box (a cake pan will work too!). Put paint in all the above colors in used yogurt containers (or something similar). Add a marble to each paint container.

First you take the marble out of the paint and roll them over the leaves. Then, you sprinkle with the glitter. As they dry the paper curls at the edges just like real fall leaves!

After completely dry punch a hole in the "stem" and hang with fishing line from your ceiling!
