CD Daisy Puppet
Make a flower using an old cd, a paper plate, a sock, and a few other supplies.

Materials Needed:
  • Paper Plate
  • CD
  • Glue
  • Large Wiggle Eyes
  • 2 Inch Pom-Pom
  • Scrap of Felt or Construction Paper
  • Old Green Sock
Instructions:
Cut around the edge of the paper plate to make petal shapes (figure 1). Glue the cd onto the center of the paper plate (figure 2).

Glue the pom-pom over the hole in the center of the cd. Glue on the wiggle eyes and use a scrap of felt or paper to make a mouth (figure 3). For the final touch, apply a generous amoutn of glue to the back of your flower. Gently press the foot part of the sock onto the glue. Set aside to dry completely (figure 4). Once the glue is dry, you can slip your hand into the sock and play with your puppet!

Danielle's Dasiy Scouts made a variation of this craft... Instead of a puppet, they made a daisy suncatcher! (see the photo below).
