Personalized Clothespin Magnet
Make this fun magent using a clothespin

By Sherri Osborn, About.com Guide

Lisa Marie explains how to make a unique magnet using a clothespin.

Materials Needed:

  • Paint or Markers
  • Spring-style Clothespins
  • Paint Brush
  • Magnet (and glue if it is not self-adhesive)

Instructions:
This is a great gift idea for anyone with a locker or fridge!

Start out by painting the clothespin whatever color you desire. It can be one solid color or you can paint designs on it, such as polka dots or stripes. You can also color the clothespins with a marker. Let it dry.

Once dry, personalized the clothespin by painting or writing the name or nickname of the recipient on it. Again, let it dry.

When you are satisfied with the design on the clothespin and it is totally dry, Attach the magnet to the back of the clothespin. This make a cute gift for someone to hold pictures and papers.
