Personalized Clothespin Magnet

Learn how you can dress up ordinary magnets so they make fun magnets you will be proud to display. Make several for yourself and also some to give to others. You can use fancy paper to cover them and even personalize them more with stickers, buttons, and other embellishment items.

• Time Required: 20 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

• Spring-style Clothespins
• Decorative Paper
• Markers
• Magnet
• Craft Glue
• Scissors

Instructions:
Cut out a piece of paper small enough to cover one side of the clothespin. Glue it in place. Make sure you glue down the edges well. Let the glue dry.

You can personalize the clothespin further using markers. You can also decorate it with stickers or anything else you like. When you are satisfied with the design on the clothespin and it is totally dry, attach the magnet to the back of the clothespin and hang it up.
