Poinsetta Pin

By Sherri Osborn, About.com

Patty explains how to use scraps of felt to create simple jewelry.

Materials:

  • Red and Green felt scraps
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Small gold or white beads
  • Pin backs

Instructions:
I have just made stockings for my son's class at school and came up with this idea to use all the leftover scraps of felt.

I just cut out 10 to 12 poinsetta leaves out of red felt and glues them to form the flower. I then cut out three leaves and glues them to the back of the flower. You can then add 4 small beads to the center of the flower and a pin back and you have a pretty poinsetta pin for Christmas. If you wanted you can also had glitter for more decoration.
