Materials Needed:
- Egg Carton
- Markers or Paint
- Glue
- Scrap Paper, Feathers, Beads, Etc.
Instructions:
Cut the egg carton into 4 rows of 3 cups. Glue 2 sections together by lining up the open part of the cups to form the totem pole. Use paint or markers, construction paper, feathers, beads, or anything else you can think of to decorate your totem pole.
Native Americans used totem poles to record a families history, and they usually used an animal to represent important events. Try to make your totem pole reflect some important events in your life.
