Farmer's Day
Honor farmers and celebrate all they do on October 12th. Find ideas for crafts, games, and other activities.


Crafts to Make:
  • Make collages by cutting out pictures of farm related pictures (vegetables, animals, etc) out of magazines.
  • Draw pictures of farm animals.
  • Get a large sheet of white paper. Use small pieces of sponge and black paint to make cow spot all over the paper!
  • Choose from many farm craft ideas here.

Other Things to do:
  • Visit a farm or farmer's market.
  • Play the Farmer in the Dell.
  • Sing Old Macdonald.

  • Set up a dramatic play area with things you could find on a farm.
