The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
- Old Toothbrush
- Tempera Paint
- Plain Paper
Instructions:
Pour some paint into a dish. Use a different dish for each color. Cover your work surface with newspaper. Lay your paper down on your work surface.
Dip the bristles of the paint brush into the paint. Have fun painting on the paper by either tapping the bristles onto the paper or rubbing it like a traditional paint brush.
Another idea shared by Marti: Draw pictures of teeth on grey paper. Using the toothbrush and white paint, "clean" the teeth. When the paint dries, you can draw a happy face on the teeth pictures.
