Leaf Prints

Start off by going for a walk and collecting a variety of leaves. Of course this is easy if done in the autumn when the ground is full of fallen leaves. Bring them home and use these directions to make pictures and other items full of leaf prints.

Materials Needed:

• Leaves
• Paper Towels
• Styrofoam Plate, Meat Tray, or Other Shallow Dish
• Construction Paper
• Paint

Instructions:
Fold a paper towel into fourths and lay it on the bottom of the styrofoam plate, etc. Pour paint into the center of the paper towel to make it into a stamp pad.

Dip the back side of the leaf into the paint. Dab it around on the paper towel to wipe off excess paint, and then press it onto the paper.

Make a whole collection of leaf pictures this way. You can also use fabric paint and make a T-shirt, towels, etc!
