Altered Books 102
Read the press release about this book from Design Originals.

It's hard to believe there could be another altered art idea book as fabulous as the first, but it's here. Well known artist Beth Cote pools her own creativity with other talented designers and take you on a creative path to absorb, kearn, and experiment. Follow along as she leads you to ne ideas for pop-ups, suspensions, peek-a-doors, secret windows, pages, and transfers. Full color photos take you step-by-step. You will learn to combine rubber stamps, inks, gels, and glazes with photographs, vintage images, legacy collage papers, and clever embellishemnts to create terrific altered books. Plus Beth answers questions such as which glues to use, how to collect collage materials, utilize computer prints, and much more. This book is definately worth the price; all 52 pages are packed with inspiring ideas and creative suggestions.

Sherri's Favorite's: All the suggestions and techniques for pop-ups are fabulous, but I think my favorite section has to be towards the end of the book where you are taught to make a paper casting using toilet paper. I love it!
