Great for anyone who wants to try their hand at making baskets. I found it was easy and fun to make the pictured basket using this kit, and so did my kids.
I tried my hand at making the adorable red, white, and blue basket featured above. The kit came complete with all the materials needed to complete the project. The materials were grouped together and pre-cut so it was easy getting started and figuring out what went where.
While I have done simple weaving before, I had never tried making a basket. This kit included step-by-step instructions along with pictures so it was easy to follow along. The instruction sheet even includes common terms used in basket weaving along with definitions.
It did not take me long to pick up on the basic technique and my basket took me well less than an hour to complete. I was very impressed with the outcome. I was even able to take it apart so my kids could try their hand at making one. They had the same results and enjoyed it as much as I did!
