Puppet Stand

By Sherri Osborn, About.com

Instructions to make a home made puppet holder from cardboard rolls and shoe boxes, submitted by FGabardi.

Materials Needed:

  • Heavy Box w/ Cover (Shoe Box)
  • Paper Towel Rolls
  • Spray Paint
  • Glue
  • Newspaper

Instructions:
Using a heavy box with a cover such as a shoe box, trace around the bottom of the paper towel tubes (evenly spaced, trace as many circles as you have paper towel rolls). Cut out the circles, stuff the paper towel tubes with newspaper & cover one end. Stick a tube in each hole, glue in place. Spray paint and let dry. When done stick a puppet on each tube.
