How to Make a Paper Plate Puppet

Make this paper plate puppet craft with packing peanut teeth, submitted by Bear.

Materials Needed:

  • Paper Plate
  • Crayons or Markers
  • Glue
  • Packing Peanuts

Instructions:
Fold a paper plate in half. Draw a face on the top side of the folded paper plate. Glue the packing peanuts along the edge of the paper plate to look like teeth. To work your puppets, hold it along the folded edge and open and close your hand to make the mouth open and close.

Caution:
Use this activity with older children who will not be tempted to put the packing peanuts into their own mouths.
