Colors of the Rainbow Poster

By Sherri Osborn, About.com

Sara shares suggestions for making a colorful poster.

Materials Needed:

  • Big Sheet Of Construction Paper
  • 1 Piece Of Printer Paper (the contruction paper should be about twice the size of the printer paper)
  • Crayons
  • Permanent Marker

Instructions:
On the printer paper, draw 12 squares with the permanent marker. Get all the different colored crayons that you want on your project.

Label each box with the crayons; for example, write "Red" on one box, "Blue" on the next, and so on. When you are done with that, look at your boxes. Think of something that is the color of the label. For example, a box labeled "Green", you could draw in with a green crayon grass, leaves,or anything else that is green. Label the drawings.

Glue the printer paper in about the middle of the big construction paper to complete the poster. Give your poster a title with the permanent marker above the printer paper. For example, you could title it "Ashley's Rainbow Poster". For the word "Rainbow" you could use the colors you used to make your poster.

Congratulations, it's a job well done!
