Sea Shell Rose Bouquet
Belinda Bates explains how to create a unique bouquet using sea shells.

Materials Needed:

  • Olive or Bubble sea shells
  • Artificial roses
  • Hot glue gun
  • Paint if desired (I prefer to leave mine natural)
Instructions:
1.Sort through your shells; pick out the most colorful and set aside.

2.Using artificial roses I buy at yard sales or just some that have faded laying around the house, I pick the old rose blooms off. Be careful not to damage or tear the greenery as you will need this for the full affect.

3.After removing the old rose blooms, use your hot glue gun and put a sea shell in its place.

4. I usually position the shell with the opening toward me for a fuller affect.

Make as many as you desire. I love to put these in a vase. they look amazingly real. Another clever idea is to arrange them in a picture frame for a wall grouping or just a single picture to brighten up a room.

Special note: save the old roses for future craft projects such as putting them in candles or glueing them to special pojects.
