Spiral Snake Craft

Make a silly snake using a paper plate. An easy craft for everyone.

  • Age Guideline: 3 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 20 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

Instructions:
Paint both sides of the paper plate green or whatever color you want your snake to be. Let it dry.

Start cutting the plate, working form the outside-in. Cut into a spiral shape. The outside edge will be the tail and the inside edge will be the head, so you want to cut the outside edge a little thinner and get thicker as you get towards the middle.

Now you can make your snake's face. Glue on a couple of wiggle eyes. Cut a short piece of ribbon and glue it on the edge of the plate too look like a tongue.
