Learn how you can use paint and glitter to make fun snowflake window clings when you follow these directions shared by Diane. You can print out the snowflake pattern I used or you can draw your own snowflake.

  • Age Guideline: 6 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 45 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

Draw a snowflake on the paper or download and print out the snowflake coloring page I used. Trim around the snowflake so it fits inside the sandwich bag. Another option is to fold the paper and cut a snowflake out of it.

Put the snowflake inside the baggie. Tape the baggie to your work surface. Trace the outline of your snowflake on the outside of the baggie using the dimensional paint and fill it in. While the paint is still wet, sprinkle it with glitter. Set aside to dry. This might take several hours.

Once the paint is dry, you can peel your paint snowflake off the baggie and stick it to the window.
