Styrofoam Spider
Melissa explains how to make a spider using styrofoam balls and a few other supplies.

Materials Needed:

  • 2 Inch or Larger Styrofoam Balls
  • Pipe Cleaners of various colors cut in half
  • Wiggly Eyes
  • Glue
Instructions:
Take four pipe cleaner halves and push them into each side of the styrofoam ball. Once you have four on each side sticking straight out, bend each pipe cleaner in half so your spider stands up on its own! Glue wiggly eyes to the front and you have your friendly, colorful spider. Especially good for preschoolers since it doesn't involve scissors and is something small hands can do easily!
