Spooky Spider
Make this spooky spider sumbitted by Joi.

Materials Needed:

  • Black Construction Paper
  • Cotton Balls
  • Red Construction Paper
  • 8 X 12" Orange Construction Paper
  • Green, Red, or Orange Crepe Paper
  • Glue
  • Paper Punch
  • Ruler
Instructions:
Cut 8 eighteen inch strips 1/4 - 1/2" wide from the black construction paper.
Cut a circle of crepe paper large enough to wrap the cotton ball in.
Use a paper punch to make two red eyes from construction paper.
Fold the eight twelve inch strips accordian style to make the spider's legs.
Trace the cotton ball in the center of the 8 X 12" piece of construction paper.
Glue one end of each leg to the center of the circle with four on each side like a spider.
Wrap the cotton ball with the crepe paper and glue on the traced circle over the end of the legs.
Glue paper punch eyes on the cotton ball and your spider is complete.
