Materials Needed:

Instructions: Cut a triangle shape out of red felt. Make the top point flat and the bottom edge rounded (figure 1). Cut a 6 inch piece of ribbon, tie it into a circle, and glue it to the top of the triangle shape (figure 2). 
 Roll the felt triangle into a cone and glue the 2 sides together (figure 3). Make sure the ribbon sticks out the top of the cone! Fluff out the cotton balls and glue them around the brim of the hat. Glue on cotton ball on the top point of the hat (figure 4).
 You now have a completed Santa Hat Ornament! When we made these, I used fabric paint and wrote the child's name and the year on each hat! - See a larger photo of this craft completed by Riley and Aaron.
