Instructions: Cut 2 identical ovals, about 3" by 1", out of brown craft foam or felt. Glue one of the ovals to the outside of the jar or clay pot, sticking up about 1 1/2" over the top edge of the jar or clay pot. The other brown oval should be glued on to the inside of the jar or clay pot. Make sure it matches evenly with the oval glued to the outside. Glue the top edge of the two ovals together. This will be the turkey's head and neck.
![]() Cut oval-shaped feathers out of yellow, orange, and red foam or felt and glue these to the outside of the jar on the opposite side of the neck and head. Use scraps of orange and red foam or felt to make a beak and the turkey's waddle. Finally, add a couple of wiggle eyes.
![]() Make a small sign for your turkey by gluing a piece of craft foam or felt on top of a craft stick. Use dimensional paint to write a Thanksgiving note. You can also use these turkey's as place cards for a dinner or gathering by writing people's names on the sign. The stick can by places inside the jar full of Autumn colored candy or nuts or you can glue it to the side of the turkey. - See a larger photo of this craft completed by Sherri. - See a photo of this craft completed by Cathy.
