Fingerprint Reindeer Shirt

By Sherri Osborn, About.com

Make this fun shirt using fingerprints. A great gift idea submitted by Pam Begley.

Materials:

  • Shirt or sweatshirt
  • Fabric paint-brown
  • Fabric paint pens-gold and red
  • Small red pom poms
  • Small wiggly eyes
  • Thin red ribbon (optional)

Instructions:
This is a great teacher gift from the class or for grandparents. You can use a shirt, bag or apron.

Write "teacher/grandparent's/ect Little "Dears" on the shirt (or bag, apron, etc).

Let each child put one of their fingers in the brown paint and then on the shirt. Paint gold antlers on the top. Glue eyes in the middle of fingerprint. Glue red pompom on bottom for nose. Glue a small bow underneath. Write their name underneath reindeer with red paint pen.
