Father Christmas is the gift giver that visits children in England. He looks much like the traditional Santa Claus. He is an older gentleman with white beard and hair, and he carries a sack full of gifts for the children. He differs from the traditional Santa in his size, he is thinner; and he wears a long gown and is often holly or ivy.
