Personalized CD Coasters
Heather Diodati explains how to make fancy table coasters using old CDs.

Materials Needed:

  • A few CDs
  • Felt
  • Clear adhesive plastic sheet
  • CD Labeller Kit glue
Instructions:
You know all those AOL cd's you get for free in the mail; or any CD that you have no more use for?

Purchase one of those CD Labelling Kits and create a label with the recipient's name along with some graphics and a background. Print out the label and adhere to the top of the CD. Then use a CD to trace onto a piece of felt. Cut out the felt and glue to the underside of the personalized CD. Then use a piece of clear adhesive plastic sheet and glue this to the top of the personalized CD, protecting the design. Trim around the edge and VOILA! you have a personalized coaster!
