Toddler Pirate Halloween Costume
Follow these directions submitted by Mare from NY and your toddler can dress up as a pirate.

Materials Needed:

  • 1 Pair Black Sweat Pants
  • 1 White Turtleneck Shirt
  • 1 Belt
  • 1 Gray Bandana
  • 1 Pair Pirate Socks
  • 1 Black T-Shirt
  • Felt (white, orange, purple)
  • Fabric Glue
  • Eyebrow Pencil/Eyeliner
Instructions:

Cut the sleeves of the black t-shirt into vee's Cut the front of the black tee shirt up to the collar, like a vest, and make the edges jagged.

Cut a skull shape out of white felt and also cut out the crossbones out of white felt. Cut some skeleton's eyes out of orange felt. Cut the skeleton's nose, two small triangles, out of orange felt. Cut a diamond shape out of purple felt.

Place the purple felt diamond on the back of the black t-shirt and glue in place. Glue the skull on the purple felt diamond. Add the eyes, nose, and the crossbones.

Put the socks on your toddler first, then put on the black sweatpants and push them up to about the knee so you can see the socks. Put on the white turtle neck and then the black t-shirt vest you made. Put on the belt and gather the vest over it. Roll the bandana and tie it over the forehead or wrap it "gangsta style". Make a moustache with the eyebrow pencil and other make-up if desired
