Paper Heart Pin
Barb shares instructions for making a heart-shaped pin out of paper. A great gift for Mother's Day or any time!

Materials Needed:

  • Construction paper (3 different colors)
  • White glue
  • Sand paper
  • Safety pin
  • Clear nail polish
Instructions:
Use the heart shape below or make your own template and trace 10 hearts of each color. Cut them out.

Glue the hearts, one on top of each other, alternating colors to make a pattern. Let the stack dry completely, then sand the hearts to even them out. You can sand at an angle or into the center or at the edges, whatever you wish.

Shellac the pin, or cover it with clear nail polish. (I find the clear nail polish works better) Attach the safety pin to the back of the pin. Beautiful gift for Mom.
