Landscaped Memories
Shannon Craig explains how to make a unique picture gift.

Materials:

  • 2 - 8" by 10" sheets of wax paper
  • Leaves/petals of a plant
  • Iron
  • Pictures of friends/family

Instructions:
1) Gather up a plant of a loved one's birthday month(Such as a Poinsetta for December)and pictures of you and that person.

2) Arrange them on the sheet of wax paper.

3) Now put the 2nd sheet of wax paper evenly on top of the first.

4) Heat up an iron to where it's not hot, but warm.

5) Gently iron the sheets of wax paper on one another until they stick together.

6) Put in an 8" by 10" frame and wrap!

Bet you didn't think it would be that easy did you? The color of the wax paper lets you see the pictures and plant, but yet makes it look foggy. This represents the even though years have gone by some things never slip away! This makes a great gift for birthdays.
