Corn Cob Magnet
Make a corn cob magnet out of a pine cone.

Materials Needed:
  • Pine Cone
  • Green, Bumpy Chenile Stem
  • Paint
  • Magnet Strip
  • Glue
Instructions:
For this craft, you need a pine cone that is closed. The tall, thin pine cones will also work. Paint yellow dots on the pin cone. I just added a dot of paint to all the bumps going down the sides of the pine cone.

Cut 2 bumps off the green chenile stem. Glue these along the side of the pine cone to look like the husks. You could also use felt for this. I attached a small magnet strip to the back and hung it on the fridge!

To make your corn cob look like indian corn, paint it using yellow, orange, red, and brown paint dots. Make the husks using tan chenile or felt.
