Corncob PrintTry your hand at printmaking by making these unique prints using corncobs!
Materials Needed:
Instructions: Fold a paper towel into 4ths and lay it on the bottom of the styrofoam plate, etc. Pour paint into the center of the paper towel to make it into a stamp pad. Dip the corncob into the paint. Dab it around on the paper towel to wipe off excess paint, and then press it onto the paper or other surface to make a unique print. Expermient by dipping different parts of the corncob in the paint; dip the side, dip the end, cut the cob in hald and try printing that way! Instead of pressing the corncob on the paper, try rolling it around! You can also use fabric paint and make a T-shirt, towels, etc! |
