Yarn or String Prints
Try your hand at printmaking by making these nice pictures using yarn or string.

Materials Needed:

  • Yarn or String
  • Styrofoam Plate, Meat Tray, or Other Shallow Dish
  • Paper
  • Paint
Instructions:
Pour paint into the styrofoam plate, etc. Dip the yarn or string into the paint. Dab it around on the plate to wipe off excess paint and cover the yarn completely. Lay the yarn or string onto the paper or other surface to make a unique print. For more fun, experminet with different lengths of yarn!

You can also use fabric paint and make a T-shirt, towels, etc!
