Simple Soft Doll

Free instructions for making a simple soft doll - submitted by Spagli.
Materials Needed:
- Paper
- Soft Cloth, such as cotton
- Strips of Cloth or Fiberfil
- Embellishment Items such as buttons, ribbon, yarn, scrap fabric
- Needle
- Thread
Instructions:
- Draw an outline of the WHOLE doll on paper.
- Cut it out and pin it on the cloth.
- Cut out two pieces of the paper pattern from the cloth.
- Now position the pieces in such a way that the wrong sides are facing you from both the sides.
- Stitch the doll on the ENTIRE outline except a little portion between the legs.
- Pulling the doll through the opening you left, turn the doll right side out.
- Stuff the doll with the scrap fabric or fiberfill then stitch it up the hole.
- Decorating time! Now decorate the doll as you want. Use buttons or wiggle eyes for the eyes, button for the nose, wool scraps or yarn for hair, scraps of cloth to make clothes, etc.
