Wizard Hat
Turn an ordinary birthday party hat into a fun wizard hat.

Materials Needed:

  • Traditional, Pointed Birthday Party Hat
  • Glue
  • Felt or Construction Paper
  • Masking Tape
Instructions:
If the party hat can be taken apart to lay flat, that is the easiest way to do it (the ones I found had a small flap that simply slipped out of a slit).

Generously cover the outside of the hat with a coat of glue. Lay a piece of blue, purple, or black felt (can also use paper) on top of the glue to completely cover hat. Let the glue set up for a little while and then trim the felt or paper to the size of the hat. To add a finishing touch, cut stars, moons, and any other shapes desired out of yellow or any light colored felt and glue onto hat.

Put the hat back together using masking tape on the inside and wear with pride!
