Y2K Letter Bug
Instructions for making a cute Y2K bug using fun foam and pom-poms.

Materials Needed:
  • Fun Foam (or Cardboard)
  • Pom-poms
  • Wiggle Eyes
  • Glue
Instructions:
Cut out one Y, two 2s, and one K from the fun foam or cardboard.

Glue the two 2s together and then glue the Y on top of the 2s.

Glue the K right under the bottom edge of the two 2s laying flat. You will want it to make an L shape with the K laying horizontal and the two 2s and the Y will be vertical.

Use the pom-poms, wiggly eyes, and glue to add features to your bug. I used pom-poms for the head and body, and also stuck pom-poms on the ends of the feelers, legs, and arms created by the letters. Use your imagination to make a personalized, unique millenium bug! You can then sit it on a desk or make a magnet out of it.
