By Renee Schwarz (Kids Can Press) Review by Sherri Osborn

This book, Papier Mache, can be very helpful to you if you have never done paper mache before. It starts out by giving a general supply list and explaining how to paper mache is done by layering newspaper and paste onto objects. It gives many suggestions for items to paper mache, along with some specific projects. There is also a section with tips and painting and decorating ideas.
The projects in this book are very unique. You can use their illustrated directions to make a Fun Frog, Cat and Mouse Bookends, Alligator Box, and many more items. There are directions for eleven different projects, plus suggestions to help you create your own projects.
As I stated above the projects are very unique and look like they would be very fun to try. I especially like the Fish money holder made out of a balloon! If you want to learn how to paper mache, or just find some new projects to try, I suggest you give this book a look-see!
